Re-insertion by work The Center for social action in Togo includes : workshops completely independent: woodcarving, batik, seam (clothes, bags, toys), shoe making, ironwork, manufacture of wheel chairs...and an agricultural activity: pigs and poultries breeding, production of maize (sweet-corn), yams, cassava and vegetables. |
| The work-shop making wheel-chairs, espacially adapted for the Togo ground, allows physically handicapped persons to attain a greater autonomy. For families who cannot afford a wheel-chair, the Avenir-Togo Association calls for volunteers to sponsor the purchase of wheel-chairs. |
| The aim is to enable socially excluded persons, who participate in the training sessions, to create a living for themselves. After each training-session, the people who have taken part are obliged to do a project, in order to obtain a credit of solidarity, to enable them to set up their own business. |
